Last night the team sat down at the New Avenues Social Club in Rush Green for a fourth and final time this year to discuss the ward and set the new policing priorities heading into 2026 (where has the time gone…?). Thanks to those who were able to come along (and anyone caught in the rain getting home). But if you couldn't make it, here's some of what you missed. • College-based ASB and vehicle-based crime/ASB, along with the Met-set commitment around violence, will make up the ward's 3 priorities over the next 3 months • Police officer Kerry joined the team a few weeks ago, previously working in the role of a Safer Schools Officer • The ward suffered 4 residential burglaries in November, including 3 in Rush Green • 15 homes left in darkness from the early evening have been identified since November, with returning occupants reminded to keep their homes lit to deter burglars • Between October-November, 6 keys left in front doors were found, including 3 in a single shift just last week • A suspect connected to fires in Harveys Lane, Rush Green earlier in the year is currently awaiting a decision from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)
